Meek Mill freed from prison

Rapper Meek Mill walked out of prison Tuesday after Pennsylvania’s highest court ordered him freed while he appeals decade-old gun and drug convictions. Following a five-month campaign by his supporters to get him out, the state Supreme Court directed the Philadelphia judge who had jailed him to immediately issue an order releasing him on unsecured bail.

Gang group terrorising anambra State has been arrested by police

Police operatives attached to Anambra State Command’s Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) on 5th August, 2019, at 3:30am, following intelligence report, arrested members of an armed robbery syndicate at Ojoto in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State, PM Express has revealed. According SP Haruna Muhammed, PPRO, Anambra State Police Command, the suspects arrested were Emmanuel Amaechi, 35, Innocent Onyedikachi, 29, Obinna James, 20, Chukwuma Edeh, 22, and Tochukwu Owor, 27. The suspects were said to have allegedly conspired, snatched a Toyota Camry 2009/2010 model at gunpoint in Onitsha from one Nzube Udegbu on 4th August, 2019 and escaped. The Police spokesman, SP Haruna Mohammed, said that the snatched vehicle was recovered in their possession and case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution

Nigerian Army explains why they killed three police men on convert duties.

The explanation was offered in a statement by the spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Colonel Sagir Musa. The Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police Frank Mba, had earlier in the day said three operatives in the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team, headed by DCP Abba Kyari, were killed by the soldiers in Taraba State despite identifying themselves as being on covert operation to arrest one Alhaji Hamisu, a suspected kidnapper. Hamisu was said to have been involved in several crimes, collecting N100 million as ransom during one of such operations. However, Mba said as Hamisu was being driven to the Police Command Headquarters in Jalingo, they were engaged in fierce shooting by soldiers, resulting in the death of three policemen, a civilian and the escape of the suspect. Nigerian student died in a motor accident

It has been reported that a 24-year-old Nigerian student has died after his car hit a tree before it overturned in front of Cyberjaya National School (SK) in Malaysia. The crash happened at about 6.20am. The victim, Muhammad Saad Yuguda, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Muhammad was found stuck in the driver's side of his Honda Civic. In a video from the scene, a lady, suspected to be his girlfriend, can be seen crying over his corpse. Condolences have been pouring in for the deceased.

Boy recieved pizza from police after calling 911 that he's hungry.

When a boy called 911 because he was hungry and wanted to order a pizza, police officers in Florida took the opportunity to teach the child an important lesson.  Officers went to the boy’s home after the child dialed 911 and told dispatchers he was hungry and wanted to order a pizza. "After arriving on scene, officers met the young boy and his older sister.  She told officers they were fine and her brother had grabbed the phone without her knowledge," police said in a Facebook post Friday.They taught the boy about when it's appropriate to call 911, according to the post.Afterward, officers personally delivered a large pizza for. 

Ivorian singer DJ Arafat died in motor bike crash.

The Ivory Coast dance star, DJ Arafat  was rushed to hospital in Abidjan after motorbike accident on Sunday, where he later gave up. This is really a sad story as Africa has lost a legend. Fans gathered at the Abidjan hospital to mourn the late singer Ivorian Culture Minister Maurice kouakou Bandaman offered a tribute and vowed to spy Homage to the  the late singer's life and career. On 1 Aug 2019 Atiku Abubakar on his tweets revealed how Nigerian soldiers are buried secretly in the night by General Muhammadu Buhari led administration. He tweeted that it's a shock that such thing could happen under a democracy. "Heartbreak to the families and friends of  those soldiers who, if the report is true,have lost their loved ones, without being allowed to bury them or even to have any sense of closure as regards to their fate." he also tweeted. Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim in an interview has revealed that a president of a country once asked her out. The actress in the interview with BBC Pidgin’s ‘Question Till Mouth Pain You’ show, talked about some ‘Behind the Scene’ acting moments, her love life and some challenges she faced in the past before getting a spot in the entertainment industry. She revealed that her weirdest moment on set was when a movie director got an erection while on set with her. Juliet revealed the movie director held her hand after she walked past him and asked her to ‘look at what she is doing to him’, which according to her that was when she saw the erection. She also said the strangest rumour she has been roped into was dating Chris Brown though she admitted he is her celebrity crush. On the biggest public figure that has asked her out, Juliet Ibrahim said it’s a President but never revealed his country.

SUICIDE: Laspotech student committed suicide due to depression.

A student committed suicide because he was been mocked by a lecturer.  Laspotech student identified as Bamidele Damilare, who was a Business Administration student of the Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, has died after taking a venomous substance.   According to reports, Bamidele Damilare went into depression after one Mr. Pears, the school’s course , insulted him over his inability to pay his school fees. He took Sniper after he was frustrated and harassed for the debts. His colleagues allegedly protested over his death. The coordinator, Mr Pears, who was accused of frustrating the student however, said that Damilare’s death was none of his business. Security operatives were later called in to fend off the students. The rate of youth committing suicide in the country is becoming alarming, anybody that is thinking of committing suicide should remember that there are people in worse condition.
