Why Nigerian men prefers village girls for marriage than city girls

Sometimes, they ways of Nigerian men can be very weired especially when it comes to choosing a wife. Some men prefer to go for the local and village girls while other prefer the Lagos expensive girls. Sometimes, the men that go for local girls can not be blamed for making such decision because for some reasons, they have made a very wise decision.

After so many research, it has been discovered that the men who choose village girls over city girls actually have their reason for doing it. A typical man wants a woman who would love, respect and treat him like a king.

He wants her to be beautiful and a perfect mother to his kids, because of this, many men spend half their lives searching for her. There have been cases where mothers bring women for their sons to marry, either because he’s taking too long to find one for himself or because she (the mother) has carefully sought the best girl she knows for him. These sort of girls, usually well-behaved are mostly brought from the village.

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Men love food and no man likes to return home and not meet a well prepared meal . A village girl has all the time in the world to concentrate on learning and perfecting the kitchen art.

City girls on the other hand are too busy doing social media, visiting cinemas, clubs and shopping malls to have the time to actually learn how to cook. Even if a village girl wanted to be a social media freak like her city counterparts, the epileptic power and poor network in the village won’t let her.

Village ladies understand moderation and have learnt the skills to economise. Lagos men know that the city has its ups and downs and like it when a woman can make do with what is available. Some city girls do very unimaginable things to keep up with fashion trends, however, a village girl has seen decency in her immediate environment all her life, hence the lower possibility of her wanting to be indecent in any way.

Either by nature or nurture, men feel they are superior to women and like it when they get a lot of respect from women. No man wants to marry a woman if he knows she will challenge his superiority. Lagos men know that most Lagos ladies have been so exposed to similar and equal life styles that can lead to tension in the home.

Men know that village ladies pose no threat when it comes to class and level and feel more comfortable with them. Unlike a city girls knows too much already to be able to totally submit to a man. A village girl even when she is sent to school is taught that her primary and main responsibility is to raise a family. She knows that her duties and take care of her husband’s physical and emotional needs.Village ladies have very homely qualities that make a man happy.

They know it is their duties to do the dishes, laundry, cook, make the home and still take care of the children. Lagos ladies however feel that the modern world in its unwritten law desire men to also help in the house chores and not many Lagos men are adept at doing that. With a village lady however, they is not question about who will do the house chores.

As much as men love to marry a pretty woman and they also want to be seen with a beautiful wife, men have discerned the difference between natural beauty and the pancake and lipstick beauty. Lagos men know they are seeing the real picture when they meet a village lady and not a black-to-white transformation that is typical of Lagos ladies.

Finally, a Village girl usually portray themselves to be more of a wife material than a slay queen. Wife material is an expression used to describe a lady that encapsulates all the qualities that a man wants in a woman. Lagos men try to select a woman with wife material when they eventually want to get married. They feel that Lagos ladies have little or no wife material and therefore cast their nets in the village where they are likely to find ladies who have yards and yards of wife material.

Even though no man wants to marry a dummy, men still love their women smart and intellectually challenging. Women like these fit into organizational role and would rise fast in their chosen fields of career.

However, men who are not as sound as them may feel intimidated by them and keep off as their ego would always be bruised. Men are naturally proud, they would no doubt want to be in control of women like these knowing how much respect the women like that command in the society. Nigerian men love to marry women who fit their social status. They love it when they are seen with women who are classy, women who know how to dress and behave publicly. Ladies like these do well when it comes to decorating the house and giving it a homey feel. They are a perfect blend of chic and industriousness.
